Why choose Fusion?

Fusion Sporting Academy provides support for talented athletes from across the UK. Launching in 2022 under our new name, the old scheme (FANs) has already helped many athletes on their journey to become a national sporting success.

With access to Fusion's extensive and diverse estate of leisure centres across the country, athletes on the scheme are able to use the highest standard of facilities for their ongoing training.

At Fusion we understand the demands, costs and dedication associated with trying to achieve the goals each athlete sets and as a key part of the communities within the locations we operate, we want to help.

The programme works in direct partnership with each local authority we work in partnership with, the key driver being to support talented athletes to achieve.

MEET CLAIRE

Claire Spurway joined the scheme in 2014 and specialises in sprinting and athletics. She is currently GB champion. After an injury earlier in the year, Claire has been making use of all the facilities at her centre, especially the pool and the gym, to aid her recovery and maintain fitness.
