To be eligible for the scheme you need to compete or perform at a national/county level in any sport recognised by Sport England. (A list of eligible sports can be found at www.sportengland.org)

You must be;

• A resident for the majority of the year in the area (full time students whose parents/ guardians reside in that area are eligible)
• A current member of a national/county team or squad in a sport recognised by Sport England* and/or
• Currently listed in the top 10 of any national age group ranking in a sport recognised by Sport England** Supporting evidence or confirmation of a sport person's current involvement at a national level will be required from the appropriate National Governing Body of sport. (E.g. a letter from your NGB inviting you to a national/international competition, results, ranking verification).

• All applicants must agree to comply with 'Terms & Conditions' prior to application being accepted. The 'T&C's' box should be ticked at the end of the online application process.
• All applicants under 16 years of age must have parent/guardian permission prior to submitting.
• Fusion supported athletes aged under 16 will need to follow the below process to be granted access at peak times (outside of junior gym) Are competing at a National / International level and have an NGB endorsed training programme. The athlete has completed the requested wavier with parental signature. Additional parental consent is received in the form of a document stating they approve their child to attend peak time gym sessions without additional fitness instructor supervision. Approval gained by the centers GM.
• Full Details of the athlete will be shared with 'Sport Partners' to verify applicants' sporting ability and standing to accurately profile awards.
• The information contained on the Application Form must be correct to the best of applicant's knowledge.
• Recipients of a Fusion award are not precluded from seeking and securing funding and support from other parties.
• Fusion reserves the right to withdraw ongoing support including gym memberships, physiotherapy support as well as unpaid financial awards if Terms and Conditions are not adhered to by supported athletes.
• All applicants must recognise Fusion support by using "supported by Fusion" on publicity materials and social media biographies.
• Fusion will require successful applicants to make themselves available for at least one Event appearance or photo call per annum upon being given reasonable notice, and considering other educational, work or sporting commitments.
• Applicants must agree to be a role model for other Fusion Centre users, abiding by all Centre rules set out by general managers.
• Athletes will be required to provide information to the Sport and Community Development Team including their competitive events attended and planned, their training regime and general updates by email on a quarterly basis.
